Australia issued 450 ITAs in a recent SkillSelect Invitation Round
The Immigration Authority of Australia, i.e. DHA has finally released the results of its December 2019 SkillSelect selection round that was held on 11th December 2019. The Department of Home Affairs (DHA) has issued invitations each to Apply for 2 key GSM visa sub-categories, including, 250 ITAs for Skilled Independent visa (subclass 189) and 200 ITAs for Skilled Work Regional (Provisional) visa (subclass 491) – Family-Sponsored Visa.
As a part of the process, the DHA announces SkillSelect invitation rounds on the 11th of every month and through these periodic rounds of invitations, the Australian government invites skilled and talented foreign workers to apply for PR visa in Australia.

In this latest invitation round, the DHA has issued total 450 ITAs (Invitations to Apply) for both the Visa Subclasses including, Subclass Visa 189 and Subclass Visa 491 with minimum score requirement of 95 for each visa subclass.

Please note, the SkillSelect allocates the places to Visa subclass 189 first and then allocates the remaining places to Visa Subclass 491. In case, all places are already taken up by Visa 189, then no invitations are issued for Visa 491 in the above-mentioned occupations.
