- Submission of Expression of Interest (EOI)
- Submission of actual completed visa application
- Partner Provisional Visa Subclass 309
With this visa, you can work and live in Australia while the government processes your permanent Partner (Migrant) visa. You can also travel to and from Australia whenever you want.
To obtain this visa, you have to be in a relationship (genuine) with your de facto partner or spouse, who is an Australian permanent resident or citizen or is an eligible New Zealand citizen.
- New Temporary Parent Visa (subclass 870)
This highly anticipated visa came into existence since 17th April 2019. It allows the parents of Australian citizens or permanent residents to live in Australia for a period of 5 years. Once the 5 year period finishes, they get an opportunity to renew this visa for a further time period of 5 years.
This visa is processed in 2 stages:
A child must become an approved sponsor before his/her parents apply for the visa.
From 17 April 2019, a child can lodge sponsorship applications for their parents who have lodged their visa applications on or after 1st July 2019.
- Visitor visa
With this visa, you can visit your family or friends living in Australia and can stay there up to 12 months time as a tourist or for a business trip or medical treatment purposes. To apply for this visa type, you must show proof of funds to support your stay in Australia and you must not work in Australia.
