The Department of Home Affairs of Australia has announced a hike a 5.4% in the Visa Application fees to be enforced from 1 July 2019 on most of the visa subclasses. This significant change has been outlined in the 2019-20 Australia Government Federal Budget.

With a whopping rise in the visa charges by 5.4%, this extra amount would make a significant mark while applying for an Australian visa including a partner visa.
You can understand it this way, say for example Stage 1 partner visa, the present cost is AUD7,160 and will cost you around AUD7,546 from 1st July 2019, marking a significant hike of AUD386.64.
