Australia SkillSelect Invitation Round october 2019
The numbers of 11th October invitation rounds have been announced by the government of Australia. In this round of invitations, the DHA (Department of Home Affairs), Australia has invited a total of 1,500 candidates to apply for the Skilled Independent Subclass 189 Visa.
Please note, there were no invitations sent to Visa Subclass 489, as it is soon to be replaced by the new Skilled Work Regional (Provisional) Visa Subclass 491.

For Skilled Independent visa subclass candidates, the minimum score requirement was 80 points.
SkillSelect allocates places to Skilled – Independent visas (subclass 189) and then all the remaining ones go to Skilled – Regional (Provisional) visas.

With this round, the total number of invited candidates had reached up to 3,000 in nearly 4 rounds. Surprisingly, a majority of invitations have been sent out to the candidates who fall under the Visa Subclass 189, i.e. 2700 invitations. While, for Visa Subclass 489, only 300 invitations have been issued by the DHA, Australia.
