Australia SkillSelect Invitation Round- 11th February 2020
The DHA (Department of Home Affairs), Australia has announced the latest SkillSelect Invitation Round results held on 11th February 2020. Generally, the DHA releases it’s results on 11th day of every month and invite skilled candidates to apply for PR visa via GSM program.
In this invitation round, DHA has invited total 1500 candidates under two key GSM (General Skilled Migration) visa categories, i.e. Skilled Independent visa (subclass 189) and Skilled Work Regional (Provisional) visa (subclass 491) – Family Sponsored.

1) Skilled Independent visa (subclass 189):
- Total Number of invitations Issued: 1000
- Latest date of effect: 16/11/2019 9:23pm
- Minimum Score Requirement: 90 Points
2) Skilled Work Regional (Provisional) visa (subclass 491) – Family Sponsored:
- Total Number of invitations Issued: 500
- Latest date of effect: 08/01/2020 3:06pm
- Minimum Score Requirement: 85 Points

All the occupation groups mentioned above are in high demand and thus, these are subject to pro rata arrangements so that DHA can issue invitations throughout the year.
SkillSelect allocates the available places to Visa 189 candidates first and then the remaining visa places are allocated to those under Visa Subclass 491.
