The Regional Occupations List (ROL) Australia is designed to address the labor and market needs of regional Australia. This list contains 77 occupations and is valid for a few key skilled visa categories.

Prescribed in legislative instrument LIN 19/051, the ROL Australia is relevant to those applicants who are nominated either by a State or a Territory of government of the Australia.

The ROL contains skilled occupations, which can be sponsored via the Medium-Term Stream. One of the key requirements for any ROL listed occupation is that the occupation must be in regional Australia only. Therefore, if you get a nomination for any ROL occupation, then you can t work in any Australian metropolitan area like Sydney or Melbourne.

What are the key requirements?

Each occupation differs as per the ANZSCO’s classification of that specific occupation. All occupations listed on the ROL include similar English requirements. You are required need to meet the health and character requirements.

What is the visa application fees for all ROL occupations?

The following fees amount includes only the visa application fees. Other costs, like health check fees, English language tests fee, or police certificate fee comes as additional amount.
