Queensland is now open for nomination applications 26th November 2019
The Queensland State Nomination Skilled Program is now open for Skilled Work Regional (Provisional) visa (subclass 491) from 26 November 2019 and is permanently closed for Skilled Nominated (Permanent) visa (subclass 190).
Before you submit an EOI, you must review the BSMQ criteria in order to confirm your eligibility, which includes that:
- You must be working in Queensland
- Whether you are offshore or onshore
- Whether you are a Queensland postgraduate alumni or not
An applicant is also required to check the Queensland Skilled Occupation List as well to confirm whether the occupation selected by him or she is still on the latest list or not:
- Queensland Skilled Occupation List
- Occupations removed from the list
The authorities have also ensured that an applicant doesn t submit his or her EOI if his or her occupation has been removed from the list and doesn t meet the eligibility requirements, because the application in such cases will not be selected by the authorities.
