  • Views - (197415)

As per the latest announcement by the Australian Government, the new SNOL, i.e. State Nominated Occupation List has come into effect from 3rd December 2019. If we go by the announcements, then a total of 275 and 223 occupations have been included in the new State Nominated Occupation List and other Supplementary List, respectively.

A state nomination helps an applicant get his or her skilled migration visa from the Government of Australia. Similarly, the State Government of South Australia nominates highly skilled individuals who wish to move to South Australia and possess the required skills level and work experience.

In order to get a State nomination, an applicant must have an occupation that is mentioned in the new State Nominated Occupation List (SNOL) and meet the eligibility requirements of the state and Federal Government.

Anyone who is willing to apply for any of Australia's State Nominated Visa Categories in South Australia must refer to this new occupation list, i.e. SNOL, which is valid for State Nominated Permanent Visa Subclass 190 and New Skilled Work Regional Provisional Visa Subclass 491.
