Please note, the ACT has invited all the candidates to apply for Australian state sponsorship. In order to file an application for State Sponsorship with ACT, all the candidates are required to file their Canberra Matrix first and then get an ITA (invitation to apply) for their state or territory sponsorship.
Thus, in order to express your interest in ACT state nomination, you have to complete a Canberra Matrix so that you get points on the basis of your key profile factors and how well you can contribute to the local community s economy.
Through Canberra Matrix, the local government invites those candidates who have bagged high ranking to apply for state nomination.
All the invited candidates must submit their online application to the ATC within 14 days of receiving their ITAs along with relevant documents and the processing fee. If approved, they will be eligible to apply for Australian Permanent Residency to the Department of Home Affairs.
Please note, the next ATC invitation round is scheduled to be conducted on or before February 10, 2020.
