Austraia Skillselect Invitation Round held on 11 August
The Australian government has finally released the details regarding its 11th August SkillSelect Invitation Round. However, the candidates who were expecting a massive number of Invitations from the August round may have to wait for some more time to witness the same.

August 2019 Invitation Round by DHA
The invitation round followed the 11th-day trend of the rounds announced by Australia a few months back. Now, in this round, Australia issued 100 invitations for a Skilled Independent visa (subclass 189) and the same number of invites were sent to the Skilled Regional (provisional) visa (subclass 489).

For Subclass 189 visa, the minimum score requirement was 85 points, while it was 80 points for Subclass 489 visa.
SkillSelect Invitations issued in 2019-20 program year
The Australian government has issued a total of 1,300 invitations in two draws so far in the program year 2019-2020. All these invites have been sent to the candidates of both General Skilled Migration (GSM) Visa categories. Out of the total number of invites issued this program year, 1,100 went to candidates under Skilled Independent visa (subclass 189), while 200 invites went to Skilled Regional (provisional) visa (subclass 489) applicants.

Subclass 189 visa invitations were relatively high (1,000 invites) in the July Invitation round, however, the Department of Home Affairs Australia decided against to issue the high number of invites this time around and hence, just issued 100 invitations under Subclass 189 visa.
